About the Academy
Yangerila Creative Studio is a guitar-specialty academy based in Indirapuram. We offer carefully designed courses that cover multiple aspects of guitar playing — from foundational skills to advanced performance.
Our online classes are redefining the way guitar is taught, combining live interactive sessions, structured courses, and constant teacher support to make learning engaging and effective.
At Yangerila, we believe music is more than just a talent — it’s a life skill that everyone can and should learn. With this vision, we are proud to serve students across India as well as Indian students in 12+ countries worldwide.
Academy's Timeline
Past
Yangerila Creative Studio was born from a teacher's vision to make guitar learning more effective, progressive, and enjoyable for everyone. With this vision, our head guitar coach Micky Dixit, after teaching at multiple institutes, started his own guitar classes, 'Rockford Academy Of Music', in 2011. In 2017, the academy was rebranded as a Guitar Specialty academy, giving birth to the new identity: 'Yangerila Creative Studio'. With over two decades of teaching experience, we have developed innovative teaching styles and our own courses to ensure students receive the best learning experience and care.
Present
This year, in 2025, Yangerila brings over 20 years of experience not just in teaching guitar, but in exploring and experimenting to make guitar learning an amazing journey for everyone. We have developed our 'Advanced Modular Grading Structure', a structured course system that accelerates learning and helps students make guitar a part of their life. Whether a school student, working professional, or homemaker, our courses are designed so everyone can learn, enjoy, and fall in love with this instrument.
Future
Looking ahead, we will soon launch our learning app, which will not only host classes but also serve as a hub for students and musicians to interact, creating a thriving community of excellence. We are adding more graded courses for different instruments with the finest teachers. In the future, we dream of Yangerila being a one-stop hub for all music learning, offering courses for every aspect of music. Our vision is for students to experience the most advanced learning through our innovative and creative teaching methods.
A NOTE
FROM THE FOUNDER
I am among the lucky few who have had the opportunity to learn and pursue music since childhood. During this time, I explored multiple instruments—but in 2003, when the guitar entered my life, my journey changed forever. In my 20+ years as a guitarist, I’ve learned, played, performed, and composed—but teaching has always had my heart. Helping students became my true passion. I’ve always had a zeal for improving my lessons and experimenting with new methods to make sure students get the best possible learning experience.
At Yangerila, with so much experience in teaching, we were able to design unique programs and grading structures that make learning accessible for everyone. Whether you want to simply play your favourite songs, or pursue mastery of the instrument, our teaching style and courses adapt to your needs. Often my students tell me how our classes feel lively, interactive, and even more connected than many offline sessions. I am confident in what we’ve created and in what we deliver.
